I needed some kind of ladder to mount my kayak to the top of my SUV. I bring a small stand alone ladder to the lake but since the boat ramp is at an angle, my helper has to hold the ladder steady instead of helping me mount the kayaks. I knew there had to be a solution out there. I looked everywhere on the net. I looked at fire escape ladders, boat ladders, rope ladders and finally I found the Rhino-Rack Folding ladder. It's unbelievably sturdy and perfect for this task. Very safe, too.

My Rhino-Rack is holding a big Thule car top carrier. Installed the rack in about 30 minutes--hardest part was finding a wall stud in the right place. The Thule sits on the Rhino-Rack without touching the wall and without stressing the relatively thin outer shell. Heavy duty construction, good materials and hardward. A winner.
