"Just took our first road trip with two big dogs taking up cargo space in the back of our 2004 MDX so had to get a roof box for luggage. Our MDX came with the needed roof bars so installing the Thule Atlantis was incredibly easy, even for a complete novice with regard to roof boxes, as myself. Within a few minutes my wife and I had the box on the roof and secured. 16 cubic feet was enough room for all our stuff with a family of 4 and supplies for the 2 dogs. On the drive I was unaware of any additional noise or change in handling of the MDX. Highly recommended."

"First the purchase was the easiest and quickest I have ever had purchasing on line. I would not hesitate for a second to do it with Auto Anything.com Once I recieved the item after only two days from the purchase date I had it out of the box and on my car and installed in 10 minutes! It looks great and works great. Traveling for 2500 miles as I write this and no issues...except...just like another review fore warned... "DO NOT OPEN BOTH SIDES AT THE SAME TIME!!!" My son made the mistake, but after 30 minutes or so we got it back into operation."

"This was very easy to install. It fit very nicely on my vehicle. It is light enough for one person to move around when not on the vehicle, but I would recommend two people put it on and off the vehicle. The locks seem to be sturdy. Everything was as described."

"The 2100 is a bit hefty to get up on an SUV, but if you're going to bother hauling around a roof box you might as well have one big enough to carry not only skis/snowboards but also bags/suitcases. It's a nice box and doesn't look out of place at all on our Volvo SUV. Follow the directions and don't make the mistake of opening both sides of the box at the same time...you'll regret it!"

"The Thule 1800 Atlantis was light weight and easy to install. It has worked out great allowing us extra room when traveling and a good place to store wet and dirt equipment returning from the mountain. I would recommend this product to everyone who travels with any kind of gear. It will give you more room and for the safety of have things out of the way, not loose in your vehicle."

"The size of this box is what I was looking for, and the Low Price Help alot too. I fit a 30" duffle bag and 3 20" to 24" bags as well.. I seached and found AutoAnthing Web sight by accident! Customer service was Excellent Product was delivered on TIME. I would order from here again..."

"After debating between the 1800 and the larger 2100, went with the 1800, which was a perfect size, large enough to fit 1 large+1 medium+1 small pullman, plus plenty of other little bags and stuff. Color matched our Odyssey great, relatively little wind noise (with the moon roof closed). Had to shimmy the Honda cross-bars forward a couple of inches from their standard location, so the rear hatch would open all the way without impacting. Appeared to take about 2-3 MPG off (at 70-80 MPH), but a (relatively) small price to pay for all the extra room inside."

"The Thule allowed us to make a camping trip with 3 adults and 3 big dogs. It held all our needs easily, was easy to install and handled wind and rain well! We noticed very little gas milage loss and consider the Thule our best buy of the year. We got a terrific deal and it was delivered quickly. I am so glad we got it, I can't imagine how we managed without it!!!"

"Fit perfectly! Highly recommend this product. Increased my storage two fold. Sturdy construction and easy to take on and off by myself. Granted I'm 6'3" and 235lbs. Loads up easy. Sits snuggly on the roof rack that came from the factory. Nice job on that clasp system. They are covered with rubber so you don't have to worry about scratching the roof. It's nice that it opens on both sides. No noticeable decrease in MPG on a 600 mile trip. No increase in wind noise either at 80mph."

"I purchased the Atlanits 1600 in July 2008 and have used it several times. This model fits perfectly on my minivan and I was able to lift it up and install it myself. It's lightweight but not flimsey. The quick lock system works great. I also purchased the Thule cargo bags which I highly recommend. It's the most efficient & fast way to pack your car top carrier. FYI the best prices by far on autoanything.com"

"Having a cargo box for our vehicle was esssential for our western trip from Indiana. My wife and I took all three children and needless to say, between all five of us, we had plenty of gear! The box mounted quickly and with ease. The locking mechanism didn't work properly all the time but this was probably due to the amount of items we crammed into the box. I would recommend the Thule Atlantis to others needing the extra storage for a trip."

"I shopped around before settling on this model. A little pricier than the Ascent, but the color matched my silver VW and the aerodynamics may offset the slight increase in price. Easy to install and use. Effectively tripled the cargo space of my car. The Atlantis is just the right size and fits perfectly in-line with my car. Barely noticeable when driving. Arrived via 18 wheeler, but came in perfect condition and in a reasonable amount of time. This website had the cheapest prices I could find. PS. I wish more reviewers include details so the rest of us could make better decisions . . i.e. model of car, etc. Thanks."

"Recv'd box from Autoanything in good condition and went on a 6 hour trip shortly thereafter attached to the top of my '07 Honda Pilot. The box is big. Possible for 1 person to move/attach but you're better off using 2. Box mounted easily to the Honda crossbars after I moved them from where the dealer had positioned them (need hex wrench). I didn't think the ability to open the box from both sides feature was important until I actually loaded the box - you want that if you have a tall vehicle like my Pilot. The box is a dream on the road, very quiet and stable. Contrary to some other reviews I've read, my box did come with 2 keys - maybe Thule read some of those prior reviews and added the second. I'm very pleased with the box and AutoAnything's service and pricing."
