"What can you say? Easy on, easy access, excellent aerodynamics, and sharp looks. I got the 16 cubic foot version and it is perfect for my '02 Toyota 4-Runner. I love the 'claw' attachment system and the secure locking mechanism and can fit camping/fishing gear for 5 in it, freeing up lots of space in the cabin. I give it two thumbs up and look forward to years of service from it. Excellent delivery service, as well, in spite of the local trucking office telling me the driver 'broke down' on the day it was scheduled for delivery, when, really, he had been re-routed by his local dispatcher to cover someone else's deliveries. Anyway, if you're considering this piece, you won't be disappointed."

"excellent value. you won't find the ascent 1600 any cheaper including shipping. got it four days after ordering it. this cargo box is perfect for smaller suvs (i have a subaru forester). i highly recommend this thule cargo box and auto anything."

Now have room for the dogs

"We needed more room for our two tracking dogs in the back of the Jeep Cherokee. The Thule carrier holds all of our equipment and supplies and still has room to spare. The dogs now have plenty of room. The installation on factory racks took 10 minutes and it looks great. A little pricey, but if it lasts for a few years, it will be a good investment."

"Purchased this unit for our 2003 Honda Odysey, installation is quick and you don't know it's there when you are driving. Also fits our 2005 Tahoe. Great product."

"We purchased this carrier to throw on a minivan with a family of 6 for vacation trips. It's a great size for throwing cargo (e.g. golf clubs) and mounts very easily. It took me about 5 minutes, no tools - very fast and secure. This model is one of the less expensive Thule models (based on equivalent cu-ft), but will work very for carrying luggage, etc.. I haven't attempted to throw skis into the carrier, but if you use shape skis which are typically shorter than the traditional planks, you shouldn't have any problems."

"This big box shows up and looks intimadating until you open the box and go wow and read the short instructions the in five minutes its on my grand cherokee, ready to useI wasn't ready to use it so I removed it for storing, 2 minute job. This quality product was everthing and more than expected. Autoanything purchasing and shipping made this even more of a pleasure. Thanks, Richard"

"The Thule XT is great. Looks great and installs easy. I installed the carrier on the Thule Exporter truck rack. The down side is the carrier is a little shallow in depth."

"We just recieved the 2008 Subaru and thought we needed extra space. Researched a bunch of sites and found AutoAnything to have the best price for the best product. I was going to order online but called to check availabilty and time frame for delivery as we needed this item within 6 days before our 12 hour trip. Called the Service center, they took my order over the phone and I received the item 2 days later. Great Service and I would definately buy from this company again."

"I love it; it's sleek and roomy inside and looks great on my Passat. It is a breeze to fasten and remove when not needed. It's quiet and fits securely to Thule rack system.It comes with a lock and you can't lock keys inside. I'm very pleased with this carrier."

"1500XT was sent to NY and arrived in 3 days! I have it fitted to a '04 BMW 325i wagon and is a perfect fit. It couldn't be any longer though. I had to make sure that the box was positioned as far back as possible to minimize wind noise. Autoanything customer service was great. The first box came with damage and needed to be returned. The customer service dept was flawless. I had a replacement one week later at no extra charge. Top notch service and I will highly recommend this company all my friends!"

"The box is good and takes lots of stuff. It has nice finishing specially if you have a black vehicle. I have driven few hundred miles with this on my roof and the best thing about this box is that you can get it on and off the vehicle in about 15 - 20 minutes."

Cascade XT

"Purchased for a 2K round trip. Light and easy to lift to the roof top. The mounting system works very well and seems very secure. The top fits the base very snugly... when you open the top, its seems difficult, but you are fighting a vacuum as you open it. This also keeps out the elements. Hint: When not in use, put the U-bars that attach the unit to your roof bars onto the clamps from the inside and close the clamps. This will keep the U-bars from sliding around when the box is removed and stored. At interstate speeds, expect to take a hit on MPGs. It is impossible to lock the keys inside the cargo box. Four keys are provided. Get the shorter box for a vehicle that has a lift hatch as the box needs to be clear of that when the hatch is open. You do not want to have the box overhand the windshield if possible, as that will increase drag and reduce MPGs. Price and delivery were excellent!"

"Can't imagine anything more convenient. The Cascade moded mounts quickly on the roof rack with the quick mount system and can hold two sets of golf clubs and two suitcases. I also like that the 11 CF model is narrow enough to allow room for a bike rack too."

"This carrier is easily mounted to my SUV with little difficulty for shorter persons. It is quiet on the road and rain proof. The option to open from either side is convenient. Most of all, it's capacity is perfect for golf clubs, luggage, and baby play pen, all at once."

"Ordered my Thule cascade XT-1500 cargo carrier and received it very quickly and earlier than promised, even with the free shipping. It was very easy to mount and works exactly as advertized. It's somewhat difficult to utilize all the space, but I expected that when I bought a roof-top carrier. Really helps that it opens from either side. I would definitely buy Thule products again, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from AutoAnything again."

"Expand the capacity of your vehicle with this great box. Brought it 2 weeks ago and have done 2000 miles with it on the roof, can't even tell it is on the roof when driving due to its awesome aerodynamics. Can fit heaps in it too. With 4 adults and 2 kids in the car on holiday this box was a life saver!"
