I was looking for a roof top box to transport two full size golf bags and the Thule Ascent 1600 fits the job to a "Tee".

Installation was a snap and the included straps help keep the bags from moving.

Received the carrier within a few days of ordering from Autoanything.com, shipping was free to boot!!

Just completed a non-stop 1200 mile trip from FL to NY this past weekend and the cargo performed flawlessly.  No wind noise, rattling, shaking, anything...  At one point during the drive through Virginia I experiened a massive thunderstorm that we drove through for about 2 hours.  I was sure the contents of the carrier got wet, not the case.  Everything stayed nice and dry.  And that thing holds ALOT of stuff.  I stuffed about 8 bags of clothes in there!!

Easy to install. Stayed tight to rack for one weeks travel trip. Rained so hard that we had to pull over and it stayed dry inside. Will hold two Filson monster duffel bags plus extra tents and gear in the sides. No problem with shifting of cargo. So quiet that at 70 MPH there was no disturbing sound. Why didnt I buy one years ago?

The Thule Ascent 1600 is a very high quality, roomy cargo carrier.  For a recent beach trip, it installed easily on the OEM roof crossbars of our 2011 Nissan Murano.  I easily fit my golf clubs and lots of other items in it.  
I'm 6'3", 220 lbs. and could easily lay down inside of the carrier.  It's kinda like a coffin in that sense, but you get the idea!
All in all the value for the price is good-- there are less expensive ones on the market, but they don't have the features of the Thule.  
Autoanything delivered at a great price and value and I wouldn't hesitate to shop here for excellent customer service and speedy delivery.

It was easier than I presumed to both install and uninstall.  It had more than enough room for our two sets of skis, one snowboard, poles, boots, etc...

The item is as expected but the delivery experience was horrible.  the item was being shipped from a warehouse a few miles from my house.  I offered to pick it up and they would not let me.  they loaded it on to a tractor trailer and put it on the road.  the driver refused to drive down my street.  i was never informed of this until i called about the item.  i then had to chase the truck around town on its delivery route until i found the drive to get the item.

This cargo carrier is a great cross between value and quality.  The quick mount system is a must to have, it makes one person installation possible and quite easy.  The dual side opening is also a huge plus, just from the installation standpoint.  I haven't actually had a chance to use it yet(leaving for our road trip in 7 days).  I did  however install it and drive around with it for a day.  No wind noise noted, and even empty there was no noted rocking or unsteadiness in steerin and handling. I researched alot of different cargo carriers, and this one definately is easier on the wallet while getting the better quality Thule provides.
