Description

Nothing ruins a long road trip like the whining whistle of wind turbulence rushing through a roof rack. Even quick jaunts around town can turn into ear-splitting annoyances. With a Thule Fairing riding on the leading edge of your roof rack, you won’t have to plug your ears with cotton before hitting the road.

The sleek, aerodynamic design of Thule Fairings channels wind up and over your roof rack. This simple redirection of airflow dramatically cuts the noise you’ll hear in your cockpit. And, this acrylic is extra rigid to virtually eliminate wind slap.

Whether you drive an Audi or a Hummer, there’s a Thule Fairing to work with your roof rack. They come in a wide range of lengths to fit the narrowest and the widest rides on the road. Plus, they mount to any Thule rack system, including the Rapid Aero and Square Bars. They’re even backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

I had mounted Inno racks on my 2009 Saturn Aura and got howling at speeds of over 40 MPH. It was driving me nuts until I bought this Thule Fairing. The results were immediate. Only some wind noise as one would expect, but no more whistles and howls from the racks! I can drive my car in peace and it looks most awesome. The 4 door sedan looks like a sports car now.

Within driving 100 ft I noticed a drastic reduction in wind noise with the addition of the fairing kit on my Subaru. No more whistling, however, if you have an 02 or 03 Impreza like mine, the radio antenna tends to hit the fairing on a regular basis, but I don't fault the Thule part. Loving it so far.

As usual excellent quality and support from Thule. I was concerned about cracking a plastic part during assembly, called Thule, they it would not crack and if it did they would replace. It didn't.

i like the appearance of the fairing, it seems a little thin or cheaper than expected, it dosent fit totally with my vehicle due to ridges on the roof. however, i bought it to reduce awful wind noise, and it worked, virtually no nosie after the fairing was installed. Overall it is a good product.

Looks good and does exactly what it is suppose to do. DIY Install Time: Install time for rack 2 hours. Install time for fairing 1 hour.
