Road trips can take you to far-away lands, but that doesn’t mean you’ll find yourself wading through monsoon rain storms or whiteout blizzards. Many costly rooftop cargo bags are over-engineered to withstand floods, ice-ages and other Armageddon scenarios. If you’re heading out into mild weather and need plenty of carrying capacity, go with the Yakima GetOut Roof Cargo Bag. You get a whopping 13 cubic ft of storage space without having to drain your savings to afford it.
From extra luggage to your stockpile of camping equipment, the Yakima GetOut Pro Cargo Bag can carry just about anything. And, its base is padded for a cushioned ride on your rooftop or inside your Yakima Warrior cargo basket.
No matter how fast you drive or how windy the road, your Yakima GetOut Roof Cargo Bag won’t fly away. It mounts securely to both aftermarket and factory crossbars using powerful straps. When you return from your voyage, it folds flat and stores away without taking up a lot of space like a hard-shell cargo box. It’s also backed by Yakima’s Lifetime Warranty.

Great quality material should last many years. Fits well on our SUV which has roof rack and cross bars. Did not drive in wet weather so cannot comment on "weather proof" features. Great value for the money!

Does the GetOut Cargo Bag keep contents dry?

Hi, The bag is water-resistant, so if you're heading through areas with heavy rain, you may still want to put your gear inside a plastic bag.flag Accept Answer
