A few things to consider: You will need to deduct from the stated dimensions to allow for the encroachment of the bolts into the carrier space. You will NOT have 20" clear. You should not expect to leave the carrier installed full time as I had; after the first rainfall it is showing evidence of rust at the weld locations of the wire mesh to the frame. Exercise care in tightening the bolts. I'm fairly strong, but I've never torqued a bolt to the point where it snapped/sheared clean off as happened to me on one. It will also wobble quite a bit in the receiver hitch. Overall it is OK. I am satisfied with the product

This worked perfect. Could have used a few more pics before I ordered, but I was not dissatisfied.

Not too bad to put together. Two people would help a bit. Functions well. Don't over tighten the bolts they will break.

The carrier arrived with some chips and some rust spots. Still waiting for the company to respond for a fix. Seems like a good sturdy carrier, but the spots need to be addressed.
