Description

Don’t let the diminutive size fool you; the PackRight Sport Jr. Car Top Carrier packs a powerful punch when it comes to cargo handling. Designed specifically for compact and mid-sized vehicles, the Sport Jr. works perfectly with or without luggage racks.

With a full 9 cubic ft of cargo space, the PackRight Sport Jr. is big enough to handle solo road trips or weekend getaways with a partner. Plus, the aero-design cuts the wind which conserves MPGs—so you can save some of that gas money for road snacks.

Crafted from RightlineGear’s heavy-duty Hydrotuff material and featuring the innovative ZipRight zipper system, the Sport Jr. is as roadworthy as they come. The zipper opens three-quarters of the way around for easy loading and access, and it features storm flaps to keep the weather out and your gear dry.

This easily installed on my wife's Honda Fit Sport (without a car rack). It did take some figuring out, but after I installed in the first time, it was pretty easy thereafter. We drove all told about 600 miles, including through a torrential downpour, and everything stayed dry. I recommend that buyers also buy the mat which is placed under the carrier to help keep it from sliding during travel. I do recommend that, when using it, you place as much as possible in the carrier. It works best (and stays most secure) when it is fully packed and the sides and top don't cave in. Be careful to not add too much weight, however. This was a decent price, and serves our purposes exactly as needed.

Tested it on my 2011 honda minivan and the hooks work and do not interfere with the sliding doors. Will be using on a long trip with the family.

I went camping in my Honda CR-V and the PackRight Sport Jr. worked great. On the trip out I placed the mat I purchased with it a little too far forward, and the mat flapped up too much, until it rippled back several inches under the car top carrier. When I packed up for the return trip, I simply moved the mat a little bit back -- no more flapping noises and the mat stayed put, even at 60-65 MPH. Great product!

We packed it full of sleeping bags and other soft items for our camping trip and then threw it up on the roof. It is easy to attach and it folds compactly when not in use. We were able to fit five sleeping bags, five air mattresses, three backpacking pads, a tarp and a couple of small blankets in this carrier. It essentially is like having a second trunk.

I am a single lady taking long trips and have a very small car. Using the Sports Jr. Car Carrier gave the inside of my car more space and I could see the out side. The carrrier stayed in place and I had no trouble with it. It worked great Thank You
