I am very impressed with the Thule Canoe Carrier for the most part. I would have rated it as excellent however the adjustable slide for the Inno Rack System are extremely difficult to get on the rack system as they are simply to tight. The only way I was able to get them on was by swabbing dishwashing liquid on the rack corss bars and then prying the adjustable carriers open to get them on. Once the adjustable carriers are on they seem to settle in but the process should be far easier than this.

HOW IS THIS RACK INSTALLED?
HOW IS THIS RACK SECURED? DOES IT REQUIRE DRILLING THRU THE ROOF WITH BOLT INSTALLATION?

Hello Gerry. The Thule Caoe Carrier does not require any drilling. It attaches with straps. You need the Thule square bar rack system in order to use the carrier ideally. Thank you for your question.
