The Shadow is on my silver Jeep Grand Cherokee. Looks BEAUTIFUL in in silver. Took it for a couple FAST rides and no NOISE or movement at all !!!!! Have not packed it yet but will be doing so in a couple weeks. My brother set it up for me and said it was pretty easy. Being a small/short girl I will need someone to help me get it up but brother figured out a way for me to get it down in a pinch ! Only con: won't fit in my garage while on the Jeep. Not the Shadows fault !

After doing quite a bit of shopping around I purchased the inno shadow 14 for my 2007 impreza hatchback. It has a very sleek design and fits my smaller car perfectly. Before I was using an old yakima load ranger with 20cu ft of space (which i got many years of use out of on a larger vehicle) but there is noticeably less drag with the smaller inno. It is mounted a little towards the front of the vehicle just to allow room for the hatch to open all the way but looks great all around. I have not seen the shadow 16 but assume it will fit nicely on a small hatchback as well. The box easily holds a few snowboards, and i assume a good amount of my camping/sports gear in the summer. The mounting system is the easiest to use of any box I have encountered, it literally took me 3 minutes. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and smile every time I see it on my car.

I bought the Inno Shadow Cargo Box to use on my new 2011 Chevy Equinox. I chose this box for two primary reasons--its size, and the way it mounts. The Equinox is not a large vehicle and this box fits well in both width and length. Also, the height of the box is fairly low so as not to create too much wind resistance. The lever operated clamp-on system is fast and easy to use. I just returned from a 2,000+ mile ski trip and was very satisfied with this box. There was no wind noise at all. The box is a bit pricey, but I plan to take it off when I am not using it. The mounting clamps make the on or off process about a 10 minute operation rater than 30+ minutes that would be required using U-bolts. The open from either side operation is also a plus. I recommend this box to anyone who is willing to pay a bit more to get exactly what they want.

Excellent cargo box, just the right size (16 cu. ft.). It can be opened on both sides smoothly with one hand, easy to install too. I chose the Inno box because of its aerodynamic design and strong material (the box does not feel flimsy at all). On the highway, there was no noticeable drag and it's quieter when installed compared to bare racks. It's a bit more expensive but, for me, it's well worth it.

Can this box fit 200cm rockered skis with big tips & tails?
Answered by Nathan S. — Mar 01, 2013 2:22 PM
Hi, I believe the largest box isn't long enough. It measures: 72.0" L x 25.6" W x 11.0" H in the interior.

2013 Toyota Sienna

Can you give me the dimensions L x W x H of the three different sizes of the Shadow cargo box? We want the smallest possible box to fit ski equipment on our 2013 Toyota Sienna. We really don't need space except for the skis. My husband doesn't wants to keep the skis covered, so a rack won't work for him. These seem much shorter than the Thule options.

The 15 cubic feet BRA1150-BK Inno Shadow 15 Roof Box features the lowest profile of all the cargo roof boxes in the Inno Racks Shadow Series. Delivers an excellent combination of generous cargo space along with a sleek low-profile for remarkably improved aerodynamics compared to other competitors' roof boxes. The super low overall height of the Inno Shadow 15 roof box means it slices through the wind, reducing wind drag and noise to a minimum while providing optimal M.P.G. / fuel-efficiency and a quiet ride. Also offers the greatest likelihood of driving into your garage without having to remove the box from the roof of your vehicle (simply measure height of vehicle from ground to roof rack cross bars and add the height of the cargo box to determine if you have clearance for a garage). With the large 15 cubic feet of storage capacity, the Inno Shadow 15 cargo box will safely and securely transport overflowing gear on vacations, family adventures on the weekends, and trips to the mountain or the beach. Carries up to eight pairs of skis or four snowboards or two surfboards, as well as luggage, sporting equipment, fishing rods, camping gear, beach supplies, tools etc. (carrying capacity may vary depending on skis, surfboard length; roof box usable interior dimensions: 72”L x 25.6”W x 9”H)

2011 Dodge Durango

I have a 2011 Dodge Durango with a short antenna on the back of the roof. I also have the factory roof racks. I bought and returned the Thule Atlantis which the fit guide said would fit my vehicle. The Thule sat directly on the antenna so I returned it. My question is, do the INNO models interfere with the antenna's on the Durango? And if so is there any hard case model that will not interfere with the antenna. Thank you,
