    Description

After baseball and baking apple pies, road trips are the great American pastime. But, packing up your ride with everyone’s luggage, camping equipment, a snack-filled cooler and your golden retriever doesn’t leave a lot of room behind for the most important element: your family. Give your passengers plenty of space by stashing your stuff in a Rhino-Rack Master Fit Cargo Box.

Like a second trunk for the top of your auto, Rhino-Rack Master Fit Cargo Boxes creates a spacious storage locker that holds and protects your valuables from both Mother Nature and parking lot bandits. The sturdy ABS construction blocks rain, sleet and snow from soaking your stuff, and it’s UV resistant to withstand blistering summer sunshine. Then, the multi-point locking system stops would-be crooks from walking off with your prized skis, suitcases or tents.

Best of all, your Rhino-Rack Master Fit Cargo Box takes just five minutes to install. Simply place it on your rooftop crossbars, turn the Master Fit dials, and it’s securely clamped in place. You can open your cargo box from both sides for easier loading and unloading, and it comes in multiple sizes for up to 19 cubic ft of space. 5-year warranty included.

Such a breeze to install with the twist lock connectors. No nuts or bolts. 5 mins or less and it's on and very secure. I haven't loaded it up yet but can't wait to use it.

Bought on line after much research. Two trips from FL to MN and return. Held 2 full sets of golf bags and several smaller items. Easy to set up after you do it once. I don't like the locks; locking key difficult to remove ( due to locking mechanism ). Rode well going 80 mph most of the way on interstates. Light wieght; two of us in mid 60's can set it up and secure it in less than 10 minutes. Fair price.

I installed the rack on my 2011 Subaru Outback. I put it on myself and including the time it took me to take everything out of the packages I put the rack on my car and it took a whole 15 minutes. It's perfect for all my boy's equipment. No problems whatsoever. It is easy to adjust so it should fit most cars and SUV's.

    length

if the interior is 75.5" long, how come the max ski length is 185 cm (72.8")? This apparent difference in usable length makes all the difference in the world since I need 73.75".

I notice the front of the box is rounded. Suppose it depends on which point you measure from.
