Good quality and rugged bag however it is not 100% water proof. I recently drove From NY to Fla with luggage on my roof bag and encountered severe rain and wind during the trip. Upon arrival we found that some water had penetrated the bag probably through the zipper. Next trip I will put the luggage in plastic bags then inside the roof bag.

The Weather Tech Sack Sack was very easy to install. I carried clothing in platic bags. It worked perfectly. It was well secured and did not encounter any problems.

The bag is a bit pricey...BUT, considering I will be using it A LOT, worth the cost if you consider long term and peace of mind that you will arrive dry.

We've used the bag only once so far and am very happy with it. We packed it full of suitcases and bags for a trip to Nashville. The weather was dry so I can't speak to the ability to keep everything dry yet. There is a little concern with the plastic buckles but they stayed tight and worked well.

I chose this carrier after reading the reviews at Autoanything.com. The quality seems quite good, we didn't have any problems with loose flaps and experienced NO noise while driving at any speed. I didn't use any extra padding between the cargo and the car roof and as far as I can tell, there aren't any scratches from the bag. The bag is very easy to install, comes with Velcro keepers for the extra strap and is padded on the bottom.

We used this bag from Fort Worth Texas to Fairbanks Alaska. It held up great. We put three military duffle bags and some pillows and blankets in it. Nothing got wet and we drove through rain and snow. Wind noise was minimal!

This cargo bag has high hopes, installation and securing it was outstanding, but the lack of keeping items inside dry is a serious issue. I plan on returning it.

I bought this bag over a hard shell because I wanted to save space in my garage when it was not in use. I was worried about if it would keep water out. We drove from AZ to CA last week and went through a monsoon that last about 45 min. It was so bad we were going 30 on the highway and there were lots of wrecks. But when we arrived at the hotel NOTHING was wet, this bag worked great. It also holds a ton of stuff, I am very pleased with it.
