Install takes about 30 minutes for the cross bars but they feel quite sturdy once attached to the rails. I have not loaded a cargo box on top but I have no reason to believe it wouldnt be sturdy/stable. You can hear some slight whistling sounds once the car gets to around 70 mph but that is no biggie. Quality product.

Solid construction - good tight fit. I will use it enough to leave it permanently installed. It would be some work to take off and on frequently. I've used it already to carry 10 - 8 ft 2x4's. Worked great. I have not noticed any wind noise or buffeting from leaving them on when not in use.

I was struggling to choose between the Thule Aeroblade and the ROLA base rack but, at last i choose ROLA is because the price and comes with all the locks. It was so easy to install, wind noise is low, only if you install all the plastic pieces into the roofrack, one thing that i don't like about this kit is the plastic piece to fill the bottom on the rack, they should make it a soft plastic instead of hard plastic, so that it is easy to cut without breaking it. Over all i like them.
