CURT Roof Mounted Cargo Rack Reviews

Well made, looks as described.

Mounted to an INNO base rack system that I purchased on AA as well. Very solid feel to the rack though I think the Ubolts could have had a better design, they are hard to hand tighten. Makes a good bit of wind noise at 70MPH+, but it's a roof basket it's expected. Used for hauling spare offroad tire/wheel.Also (not pictured) has an army shovel for looks. Helps keep the weight centered in the car which is helpful when sliding around on trails and dirt tracks. Looks pretty tough on an old e34

Small, Light, but it Delivers

Reviewed By Marion G (Bakersfield, CA) Reviewed for a 2001 BMW 5-Series —6/14/2006 1:29 AM

I read several reviews of the Sidekick before I bought it. I found the comments to ring true during a recent 6 day whirlwind trip with mine. It is small (a little smaller than I expected) and feels a little flimsy during assembly, but I must say it performed well - didn't leak during very heavy rain, didn't move at speed (even with a cross wind) and didn't appear to have a negative effect on mileage. One comment by others that I must emphasize - It definately takes two people to assemble and install. Its not difficult, just cumbersome. Once its on, its good to go and go and go. If you don't need a lot of extra space the sidekick should serve you well. I'm glad I bought mine.

SeaSucker Talon Bike Rack Reviews

Majorly awesome!

Suction cups go on in about 10 seconds each. Easily removed by pulling the tabs on the edge of the cups. My Cannondale mountain bike attached at the front fork and the back wheel was supported by the Velcro loop and suction cup. It feels very solid up there. No noticeable road noise. Took it up to 80 mph and no issues at all. Highly recommend this bike rack to anyone looking for a low cost alternative to rear strap mounts. I didn't want the roof bars because of the cost, bulk, and noise.
