Rightline Gear Sport 3 Car Top Carrier Reviews

5 day road trip

Reviewed By Michael P (HOLLAND, MI) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Equinox —6/25/2014 10:33 PM

We used our car carrier for the first time this past weekend. We drove from Western Michigan to Fort Worth Texas and back again in 5 days. We didn't have the whole thing packed and it took some inovative strap work to make it appear attractive. We did have some slippage and wish we had bought the anti-slide blanket. Once I ran a strape across the back of the carrier it worked out Great. There was no leaking and everything inside stayed in its place.

Great Value For The Money

Reviewed By Michael M (HAMMONTON, NJ) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Equinox —2/15/2013 11:15 AM

These were a great value for the money. I connected directly to my factory roof rack no problem. Racks fit 4 snowboards as advertised. Unfortunately, definitely increased air noise when driving, but I think most racks will do that.

Just what the doctor ordered

Reviewed By Christopher P (Norwich, NY) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Equinox —7/19/2012 4:41 PM

Unfortunately, I found that my INNO roof rack hummed at speeds over 40mph... I like the rack and wanted to find a way to eliminate the hum. The wind faring is a little expensive for how simple it is but it has done the job in spades. Installation was about 15min, it holds position well, and the little feet on the bottom are cushioned to protect the vehicle's finish.
