Inno Shadow--A Good Box

Reviewed By Steven D (Russellville, AR) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Equinox —1/31/2011 7:41 AM

I bought the Inno Shadow Cargo Box to use on my new 2011 Chevy Equinox. I chose this box for two primary reasons--its size, and the way it mounts. The Equinox is not a large vehicle and this box fits well in both width and length. Also, the height of the box is fairly low so as not to create too much wind resistance. The lever operated clamp-on system is fast and easy to use. I just returned from a 2,000+ mile ski trip and was very satisfied with this box. There was no wind noise at all. The box is a bit pricey, but I plan to take it off when I am not using it. The mounting clamps make the on or off process about a 10 minute operation rater than 30+ minutes that would be required using U-bolts. The open from either side operation is also a plus. I recommend this box to anyone who is willing to pay a bit more to get exactly what they want.

Great Buy

Reviewed By Tara L (Greenville, NC) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Equinox —1/1/2008 5:27 AM

We bought this roof box for our annual 12 hour road trips to visit family. It was easy to install-took about an hour. We were able to fit all our Christmas gifts and a pack and play freeing up room in the back for our suitcases and other things we needed to get at during the trip. I recommend it. Great price and does the job.

Worth the money! 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan

Reviewed By Amy R (New York, NY) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan —10/22/2016 10:32 AM

It didn't fit, despite vehicle being listed - had to drill holes in the bottom to make the brackets fit the width top bars - but not too difficult. I have driven about 2,600 miles w/ it, through a downpour and everything survived unharmed (even with the extra holes in the bottom.) The side bars that hold up the top are NOT easy to put on and take off their bracket - and the top doesn't open very wide, so that's annoying, but it's still worth the price and it ultimately does the job!
