Rightline Gear Sport 1 Car Top Carrier Reviews

Perfect size

Reviewed By Mary J (Holt, MI) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy HHR —3/2/2010 10:08 PM

We retired our TrailBlazer, and purchased an HHR. It is smaller than we were used to, so needed more space for carrying all our camping equipment. An HHR is only a 4-cylinder vehicle, so towing a trailer is almost out of the question...if you cant go out...must go up. We have plenty of room for sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, soft suitcases etc (anything bulky but lightweight) that will fit into the cartop carrier. It was bigger than it looked in the picture and we were pleasantly surprised ant how much we can fit into it. Have not had the weather yet where we can put it up on the car, but we did a dry-run packing and were able to fit a lot more in it than we originally thought. Thanks.

Great bag

Reviewed By Mitchell G (OAKLAND, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Ram —12/5/2016 9:40 PM

I got this bag to use in the bed of my truck so I can haul a couple of suitcases. I used it a couple of weeks ago through a snow storm. When I opened it there was absolutely no water in it even though it was covered in about 3 inches of snow and slush. I haven't tried it in the rain yet but I imagine it will stay dry because of the flap that goes well over the zipper.
