it was easy to install and it appears to be water tight. Has a great looking appearance.

We retired our TrailBlazer, and purchased an HHR. It is smaller than we were used to, so needed more space for carrying all our camping equipment. An HHR is only a 4-cylinder vehicle, so towing a trailer is almost out of the question...if you cant go out...must go up. We have plenty of room for sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, soft suitcases etc (anything bulky but lightweight) that will fit into the cartop carrier. It was bigger than it looked in the picture and we were pleasantly surprised ant how much we can fit into it. Have not had the weather yet where we can put it up on the car, but we did a dry-run packing and were able to fit a lot more in it than we originally thought. Thanks.

This was well worth it. Since there were 4 of us in the car, we used it to help us get all my daughter's stuff off to college. It fit 2 large plastic containers, a stuffed hamper, a box of books and a RTA storage rack in a box. We packed it pretty fully and it stayed perfectly in place. It did hang over the front rail of our SUV's roof rack but it strapped down easily and stayed put during a 3.5 hour drive. And it is waterproof; we drove through several torrential downpours & all stayed dry
