Yakima CargoPack Roof Cargo Bag Reviews

Awesome

Reviewed By Carolyn J (FRESNO, CA) Reviewed for a 2015 Chevy Spark —9/1/2016 2:14 PM

We used our Yakima CargoPack Roof Cargo Bag on a trip from Fresno CA to Salt Lake City UT and back. It was mounted on top of our Chevy Spark, using the naked roof straps It did an excellent job! Over 1600 miles and it didn't budge in the strong Arizona, So. California, and Nevada winds, and didn't leak in the rain. We love it!! One of the plastic clasps for the internal compression straps broke, but it didn't affect it's performance in the least. I would definitely recommended it to anyone!

So far so good-5 Stars if performs well

Reviewed By Paul M (Milford, MI) Reviewed for a 2015 Toyota Highlander —3/23/2017 8:43 AM

We haven't left on vacation yet so I don't as of yet know how the cargo bag will hold up. It appears to be of good quality and it seems like it will do what it's intended. I put in on the roof of my 2015 Highlander and it fits pretty well. Like it so far.

Used it for 1,000 miles.

Reviewed By Joseph H (WASHINGTON, DC) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Focus —3/5/2017 5:15 PM

We moved from DC to Pensacola FL and spent three nights on the road. The first day I used only the straps provided and ran them through the back doors. Of course the cargo shifted back a few inches. The rest of the trip I included a cargo strap just for piece of mind. I probably didn't need it but I had it so I used it. This carrier was exactly what I needed and held a good amount of stuff. The one draw back about this carrier is that my mileage dropped 9MPG. Too much wind resistance.
