Rhino Rack Aero Roof Rack System Reviews

Rhino Rack Aero Bar a great roof rack!

Reviewed By Scott I (Bossier City, LA) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Silverado —8/19/2014 2:28 PM

I have a Chevy Silverado regular cab. I installed two Rhino Rack Aero Bars on top of my roof. They fit snug and tight. These are great racks! I do get a little wind noise if I travel over 60 mph, but I will try a wind deflector to see if that helps. They are simple to take on and off. I recommend them highly

Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket Reviews

Sturdy and well designed.

Reviewed By William G (Homer City, PA) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Silverado —4/16/2010 1:44 PM

I purchased the Yakima Load Warrior, plus the 18 inch extension and cargo stretch net after looking into several other brands. The Yakima seems well made, has a durable finish and was easy to assemble- once you study the directions. The basket is certainly big enough to take a lot of bulky gear like sleeping bags, tents and bedrolls, though you have to watch your roof weight limit. I mounted the rack to the Subaru(Monte Blanc) carrier base on my '09 Forester 2.5X with slight difficulty. The crossbars are about an inch too close together for an "ideal" centered mounting in the Yakima brackets, however the brackets are wide and strong enough to get a good purchase once full tightened. Takes 5 minutes to remove and store.

ARB Awning Reviews

I wish I had bought it sooner

Reviewed By Jeff M (Elizabeth City, NC) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Silverado —8/16/2016 6:22 AM

I considered an awning for at least a couple of years and kept putting off the purchase. I wish I had not held off getting one for so long. It is a great upgrade from our 6' beach umbrella. I use this on the beach at Cape Hatteras and was concerned that the persistent wind would be an issue. While it is helpful to have a second pair of hands when deploying or storing in the wind, the guyed awning does a great job of standing up to 15 MPH wind with gusts to 18 MPH.
