Easy to install took all of 30 minutes, a little pricy but overall great investment, holds my kayaks very well.

I considered an awning for at least a couple of years and kept putting off the purchase. I wish I had not held off getting one for so long. It is a great upgrade from our 6' beach umbrella. I use this on the beach at Cape Hatteras and was concerned that the persistent wind would be an issue. While it is helpful to have a second pair of hands when deploying or storing in the wind, the guyed awning does a great job of standing up to 15 MPH wind with gusts to 18 MPH.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the rack installed on my truck. The only thing that was a bit hazy was which clamps should be fitted with the lock. Both front, both rear, opposite sides, I put both of mine on the front and after giving some thought switched to one front, one back, same sides. The other slight inconvenience for an older person is the numbers on the uprights are very hard to see with black embossed on black. So far it has easily held 12 ft 2 x 4's. 10 ft plastic pipe.
