Thule 682 Sidekick Roof Cargo Box Reviews

Over exceed expectations

Reviewed By Donna H (Winner, SD) Reviewed for a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica —8/7/2007 7:24 PM

I ordered the Sidekick over a weekend & needed it by the following weekend & received it on Thurs. We were a little confused why the hinges don't go both the same way. But is like the directions. It is a little flimsy, but did the job for what we needed. 1800 miles the first trip out & no complaints. We put 2 golf bags & 2 oversized, canvas bag chairs in it & they rode fine. Now that we have it, we think maybe we should have bought one that is a little longer. But this will do for us. Denny & Donna

You literally need no tools to install this cargo box. It is bigger than any other I have seen on the road, yet it is stable riding on the roof. I don't plan on leaving it attached year round, only for travel and camping trips. The good news is that is as easy to take off as it was to install. It works for me.

3D Maxpider roof bag

Reviewed By Kimberly C (Des Moines, IA) Reviewed for a 2014 Mazda CX-5 —9/5/2016 6:18 PM

We used this on a vacation this summer. I was surprised how much we were able to fit in it. With zippers on both sides, loading it was easy. The only complaint I would have is the bolts were too long. They actually rested ON my roof and would have damaged it significantly if I had left it. I have a Mazda CX5 and the Mazda roof rack/ cross rails which I think are lower than a lot of roof racks. When the bag was loaded it was even lower due to the weight. I bought 2 inch bolts.
