Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier Reviews

sturdy and easy to set up

Reviewed By Marc O (Manlius, NY) Reviewed for a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country —8/4/2006 7:17 AM

Even working by myself, I had no problem attaching the hull-a-port to the factory rack on my minivan and getting my kayak (recreational type, 9.5 ft, 35 lbs) up onto the hull-a-port and securely fastened. The trick with the minivan is to use a stepstool. I have not driven much with it yet, but I did test it out and was impressed by how secure the kayak appears to be in the rack, even at highway speeds.

Rightline Gear Sport 2 Car Top Carrier Reviews

Great buy

Reviewed By Bryan M (MORGAN CITY, LA) Reviewed for a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country —7/19/2014 11:18 AM

Purchased this carrier only expecting to get one trip out of it but after 24 hrs on the road in serious rain at some points this carrier will definitly be used again. I didnt care for the straps that came with it so i used two rachet straps instead. It held a lot of cargo and made so much room for us in the van. I would def recommend the purchase of this carrier.

Thule Sonic Cargo Box Reviews

Excellent cargo box

Reviewed By Michael R (Buford, GA) Reviewed for a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country —6/24/2014 6:50 AM

We took our first trip with the Sonic Cargo Box on our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. It was easy to install and we traveled over 2000 miles and couldn't even tell it was on our van. Our gas mileage did drop some but not significantly. The only issue we had was that when loaded the front opened up a little and allowed some bugs and rain to get into the box. We drove through some severe thunderstorms and while we did get some water inside it wasn't much. I would strongly recommend this box.
