Very easy

Compared to other brands, this system is much less expensive. I paid someone to install it on my minivan.. My son and i load and unload very easily.. Put many miles on this past week and loaded and unloaded daily..It was great. Kayaks stayed secure while traveling.

Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier Reviews

sturdy and easy to set up

Reviewed By Marc O (Manlius, NY) Reviewed for a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country —8/4/2006 7:17 AM

Even working by myself, I had no problem attaching the hull-a-port to the factory rack on my minivan and getting my kayak (recreational type, 9.5 ft, 35 lbs) up onto the hull-a-port and securely fastened. The trick with the minivan is to use a stepstool. I have not driven much with it yet, but I did test it out and was impressed by how secure the kayak appears to be in the rack, even at highway speeds.

Yakima HullHound Kayak Saddles Reviews

Very Nice!

Reviewed By Richard B (UNIVERSAL CITY, TX) Reviewed for a 2017 Ford F-250 —8/10/2017 1:38 PM

Very easy to install and they look sharp. Great quality construction that is backed by a lifetime warranty. They are pricey though. One drawback is they do not come with installed locks. You have to buy them separately (also pricey) and are recommended since the saddles are very easy to install or remove.
