Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier Reviews

sturdy and easy to set up

Reviewed By Marc O (Manlius, NY) Reviewed for a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country —8/4/2006 7:17 AM

Even working by myself, I had no problem attaching the hull-a-port to the factory rack on my minivan and getting my kayak (recreational type, 9.5 ft, 35 lbs) up onto the hull-a-port and securely fastened. The trick with the minivan is to use a stepstool. I have not driven much with it yet, but I did test it out and was impressed by how secure the kayak appears to be in the rack, even at highway speeds.

The Yakima KeelOver Canoe Carrier was a perfect fit for my 2007 Subaru Outback. It is easy to put on and making the necessary adjustments to fit my specific canoe were no problem. The price was very reasonable and included everything that I needed.

Yakima Kayak Stacker Reviews

Sturdy but a bit of a hassle

Reviewed By Lauren D (Downingtown, PA) Reviewed for a 2007 Infiniti G35 —7/28/2015 6:47 AM

I love this concept. The stackers fit nice on my rhino rack aero roof racks. However, these stackers do not fold down. Each time I am done using them, I have to unscrew the stackers. It isn't a terrible inconvenience. Overall, I really like the kayak stacker. Very sturdy and I have confidence carrying my kayak!
