Thule 682 Sidekick Roof Cargo Box Reviews

A great box for a great price!!!

Reviewed By Manuel A (Vega Alta, PR) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Dakota —9/13/2006 9:37 AM

I ordered this box a week before my trip from Ohio to Niagara Falls, Canada. I was afraid that I would not get it on time but the great service and fast Free shipping proved me wrong. I ordered it on Monday and received it on Thursday. The box is very easy to assemble and I needed no help. It looks small but can take a lot in it. My party consisted of 4 adults, 1 child and 1 dog and the stay was of 4 days. I drive a 2005 Jeep Liberty which doesn't have a lot of cargo space in the back. I was able to comfortably fit one medium size suit case, one small suit case, one medium dog kennel (disassembled), two small camping chairs and one back-pack. The box handled very strong winds with no sings of distress and quite some rain without a drop of water getting in. It attaches perfectly to the original Jeep Liberty Roof Rack and Cross Bars (I had to buy the cross bars separately from my Jeep dealership, since they were not included with the vehicle). Overall a great product for a great price from a great web-site!!!! Thanks so much!! I will recommend both the box and the web-site to all my friends and all the readers.

Extra room for 2300 miles

Reviewed By Timothy D (Delano, MN) Reviewed for a 2010 Dodge Journey —8/10/2016 8:35 PM

Traveling from MN to NY with three sons I purchased the Sport 2 shortly before embarking on the trip. It fit the roof very well. Easy to mount and load. Plenty of space and the straps were more than sufficient to hold our 4 bags of clothes and a new golf bag on the return trip. It also had a smaller effect on the gas milage than I expected, which was a great bonus. Very happy with the carrier.

Good product

Reviewed By Todd U (WASHINGTON, NJ) Reviewed for a 2014 Kia Forte —8/21/2016 9:17 AM

Good product, only thing I wish it had was a removable side panel to tell you the level to fill it to, I had to unpack and re orginize a few times to get the top to zip up, but otherwise awsome, easy to seat up and holds a ton of stuff and didn't dent or damage the roof of our kia forte, if you pack the front corners rite and tie the ends of the saps so they don't flap wind noise is very minimal , you don't hear it with the windows up
