Thule Xsporter Pro 500XT Truck Rack Reviews

Easy to use and strong.

This rack has done well for me. I have hauled several items, mostly a kayak. With the rack it has been a breeze. I go solo most of the time. I am able to load and unload by my self. The ease of changing heights has been great as well. It cost a little bit, but man it makes it so easy.

Nice rack!

Reviewed By Mike M (Oak Park, MI) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Ranger —8/27/2016 8:36 AM

I purchased the extended version to mount on top of the fiberglass cap on my pickup's bed. Very happy with the durability and quality of the rack. Thinking about adding the locking brackets and spare tire holder next. Autoanything.com shipped everything two days before the promised time. I also spoke to a rep on the phone before placing my order to ask questions about specific measurements. The customer service at auto anything.com is excellent and thoroughly helpful. 5 stars

It Worked

Reviewed By Darren F (Rialto, CA) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Flex —8/1/2016 10:32 PM

Decent cargo carrier. Folding shank is pretty useless though. You have to unscrew the main bolt that holds the carrier to the shank if you want to fold it up then rescrew the bolt back into place. Too much work, would rather just pull the carrier off when not in use. Wish I had bought the carrier that had the angled shank because every time I pulled into a driveway of any sort the carrier would scrape on the road. I know you're supposed to angle in but even doing that I would still scrape.
