Thule Square Bar Base Rack System Reviews

Excellent product

Reviewed By Daniel J (Pottsboro, TX) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford F-250 —3/11/2013 9:38 AM

Ordered these from AutoEverything and couldn't be happier. Have hauled my kayak several hundred miles already. They fit perfectly on my Ford F250 Super Duty pickup. They seem to be very sturdy and well made. Only complaint is the instructions that came with the system. It is actually very simple to install, but the instructions made it seem very dificult. If were not for an amature video I found on line, it would have been much more difficult to install.

Aeroblade base racks

Reviewed By Spencer B (Santa Fe, NM) Reviewed for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee —6/19/2015 1:35 PM

The racks are easy to install, remove, and reinstall. They seem very stable, although there is a slight air gap between the bottom of side rails and the Aeroblade attachment strap (the reason to drop from 5 stars); no noticable issues so far. I ordered the "B" model to match the vehicle trim--and it was well worth the additional few dollars.

Challenge to install on my truck

Reviewed By Andrew B (AMERICAN FORK, UT) Reviewed for a 2014 Nissan Frontier —12/29/2014 8:46 PM

Most of the installation videos are for full size trucks. My 2014 Nissan Frontier required taking off the Utilitrack and even then the c-clamps were a tight fit. Not bad if I were to leave it installed but a pain since I use it to carry things occasionally. Apart from that it is quiet and sturdy and good looking (for a bed rack). The rubber channel insert was missing, but perhaps this is not much of a loss. Very expensive for what it is, but the price at AutoAnything was the best I found.
