Thule Pulse Cargo Box Reviews

A real plus for traveling.

Our GMC Terrian requires that we fold down one of the rear seats to carry my golf clubs, which is not the best so I can now carry them in our roof top cargo carrier.

Design and instructions could be better

Reviewed By Edmond P (Colchester, VT) Reviewed for a 2011 GMC Terrain —1/2/2012 3:44 PM

The rack arrived when expected and was in perfect shape. The assembly instructions are poor at best, and the short strips for protecting the existing roof rails did not fit the cross rails correctly, unless I was trying to put them on wrong (instructions issue?), so I did not use them. I could not tighten the clamps enough to get the rack to really "grip" the existing roof rails to my liking without bending them. I had to use stacks of washers between the clamps and the bottom of the cross rails to keep them from bending. I've only had the rack on the vehicle for one week, but so far so good.

Thule 682 Sidekick Roof Cargo Box Reviews

Good small cargo carrier

Reviewed By Todd P (Canton, GA) Reviewed for a 2005 Subaru Forester —8/30/2005 5:04 PM

Priced about the same as soft roof cargo carriers, the thule sidekick gives you the added protection an piece of mind of a hard shell. The Sidekick comes with locks and hinged access so it's easy to store things you might need on the road. At half the price of the bigger cargo boxes the Sidekick carries 8 cu ft, which is enough for 2 medium sized suitcases. It will mount to most factory racks. Assembly is required (about 20 minutes) and it will take you about 15 minutes to get it on top of your car. The Sidekick is a great value.
