Worked great! Drove 1600 miles in Honda accord/no racks...

Reviewed By Harvest P (HOUSTON, TX) Reviewed for a 1999 Honda Accord —10/15/2012 12:00 PM

This car top carrier worked great! It was a bit difficult trying to figure out how to set it up but once that was done and packed, I did not have to adjust or tighten it at all throughout a 1600 mile road trip. I have a 99' Honda accord without racks. The included clips don't fit this car so take them off and run the straps over the top of carrier and into the car, reattaching inside, under the roof. Hope this helps! It fit a lot of stuff in it, and didn't affect gas mileage too much. Loved it!

perfect for move

Reviewed By Catherine W (Marlborough, MA) Reviewed for a 2007 Honda Accord —9/7/2011 5:36 AM

Opted to try the pack instead of borrowing/renting a larger vehicle. It worked perfectly. I do not have a luggage rack, and used the straps included. They just go over the pack and around the roof of the car. This was fine - no troubles. There is an option for a clip kit - Glad I didn't buy that, no need. I did buy the optional non-skid pad. I used it and I had no marks at all on my Honda Accord roof.

Storage bag stores a lot and holds up nicely.....

Reviewed By Todd T (Alexandria, VA) Reviewed for a 2015 Honda Pilot —1/5/2016 7:13 AM

Bought storage bag for our annual D.C. to Boston trip over holidays, it stored a lot and held up nicely through limited rain/cold weather. No snow testing but all items inside where dry after both 9 hour legs of trip. It's not the easiest to secure without a roof rack so leave time for that. Also, I would suggest facing where the zippers meet towards the back of the vehicle and make sure the front of the bag is completely full or it will flap extremely loud at 60 to 70mph.
