The only caveat I will offer other CRV owners is that the (fixed) areas for the mounting brackets on the CRV do not fit between the flat upright supports for the top rail. One cross bar has to go completely to the front (or back) and install on the outside of the support and custom drilling has to be done to assemble completely."
