Amazingly waterproof - lived up to its advertising!

Reviewed By Stephen H (CHERRY HILL, NJ) Reviewed for a 2002 Honda Civic —6/23/2014 9:07 PM

I purchased this to relocate my daughter from NJ to LA. We packed it with her clothes and strapped it to her Civic. On several days we drove through severe downpours, and I was worried. But, when we dared to unzip it, it was bone-dry inside! A CLEAR picture of how the buckle and straps work is needed. It was difficult for me to figure out. Purchase the mat if you don't have a roof rack; it's important for a secure fit. In heavy rain the straps can wick water and drip; bring some towels in case.

great product but not what I ordered

Reviewed By Hannah L (PANAMA CITY, FL) Reviewed for a 2006 Honda Civic —5/21/2014 5:17 PM

The product itself is great! However, I was shipped the VA Bar, not the Aero Bar. As a result the measurements were completely wrong! In addition, it was shipped with the incorrect measurements for my vehicle. Kimberly from customer service was great, though! She found what I was looking for (or at least what I thought I needed) and emailed the correct paperwork to me after my phone had dropped the call! Thanks Kimberly!

Pretty well satisfied

Reviewed By Joseph K (New Lebanon, NY) Reviewed for a 2002 Honda Civic —12/29/2013 9:30 AM

I only just put my cargo carrier on it then other day and haven't driven with it yet loaded. But the rack itself seems very well made. I fumbled through then instructions (my fault, although some parts were pre-assembled and not supposed to be; then called 'AutoAnything' for help (very helpful guy who walked me through my mistakes. Setting it on the car and ensuring where both sets of feet go and then making sure both sides were even equally tightened is the trickiest part.
