Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier Reviews

Thule Stacker

Reviewed By Jasen W (NAVARRE, FL) Reviewed for a 2005 Honda Element —5/27/2013 4:51 PM

The Thule Stacker does exactly what it says it does. I have to kayaks and I was able to attached both of them easily to the roof with the Stacker. I discovered it is not a bad idea to have a second set of Thule tie downs because I keep a kayak on either side of the Stacker and when you remove one kayak you may knock the other one of the roof. Also, the Thule tie downs are awesome and much easier to use then regular straps. Autoanything also had this item for about $40 cheaper with free shipping

Great if you don't have a roof rack

Reviewed By Sally R (MEDWAY, MA) Reviewed for a 2011 Honda Ridgeline —8/23/2015 9:50 AM

This roof rack was excellent for our needs. We avoided having to add a roof rack to a truck with 90,000 miles on it. It's easy to install, very roomy and easy to remove again. It is pretty waterproof as well. The only issue we had, which is expected, it will drip inside your cab if there is a prolonged, drenching rain. I mean, it rained all day and the straps got saturated then the water dripped in. It's probably a very unlikely event. Very happy with the purchase

Great Rack!

Reviewed By DEREK J (BATON ROUGE, LA) Reviewed for a 2015 Honda Accord —8/19/2015 4:34 PM

Bought this because I had gotten the full Yakima rack with the Q-towers. Great buy and install was soooo easy! Just FYI you should order two locks separately when getting this because it will help securing your bike in case someone wants to permanently borrow your bike, if you know what I mean. LOL!
