Thule Hullavator Pro Lift-Assist Kayak Rack Reviews

Awesome product!

Reviewed By Vickie S (Spokane Valley, WA) Reviewed for a 2004 Honda Element —8/17/2012 10:26 PM

I have a Honda Element which is quite tall. I'm a 5'5" female with shoulder problems & I couldn't load my kayak by myself without it resulting in some damage to the side of our vehicle & I risked reinjuring my shoulder. The Hullavator is a god-send. I only have to lift the kayak waist high, secure it, then it practically lifts itself onto the roof. It's just as easy to get down. It's especially good for we females without the upper body strength to manhandle an awkward kayak above our heads.

Universal Fit

Reviewed By William N (Irvine, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Honda Fit —6/22/2012 10:23 PM

The Thule Top Deck Kayak Rack attaches to my Inno roof rack securely. It definitely fits best with square cross bars like mine. My kayak is easy to load onto the rack. It does grab the surface of the kayak quite well from slipping while transporting.

Tricky by PERFECT

Reviewed By Leigha F (OKEMOS, MI) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Journey —5/28/2016 4:35 PM

At first, trying to fit for kayaks on the top of my car was a stripped-down nightmare. Once I figured it out, I was good to go! My crossbars needed to be about 53 inches long to be able to fit all for kayaks! Just a note to buyers who are trying to get the for kayak feature. Make sure your cross bars are long enough!
