Completely Satisfied

Reviewed By Roger P (CHELMSFORD, MA) Reviewed for a 2010 Honda Odyssey —8/8/2016 3:13 AM

Easy to install, instructions well written, straps are strong. Was able fit golf bag, 5 sleeping bags, 3 boogie boards, 5 beach chairs and 5 pillows with some room to spare. Everything stayed dry and it is easy to take down and fold up into small carry bag. Worth every pennie!

Freed up our 3rd row seats

Reviewed By David T (Louisville, KY) Reviewed for a 2007 Honda Odyssey —6/17/2010 4:16 PM

Works great. It held way more than we anticipated. We have an '07 Odyssey, and we were able to fully utilize the third row of seats by placing some of our vacation cargo in the saddlebag. We went about 750 miles to the beach - 2 adults, a 4 year old, and a 17 month old - and all their stuff! The saddlebag was very secure. We used the main straps attached to the factory rails (the ones that run front to back - not the accessory rails that cross left to right), and the long strap that goes inside the rear hatch. We did not use the short straps for the underside because there's not a good place to attach them to the van, and it was plenty secure without them. There was virtually no additional noise, and you really don't know there's anything there while driving. We didn't go through any rain, so I can't comment on that, but everything I have been able to evaluate is excellent. A couple final notes: the bottom is not rigid, and I read in a review somewhere that someone made a 1/4 inch plywood panel to give it some bottom support. There's a pocket in the bottom, and I made a panel for mine that slides right in, and helps the bottom rest on the bumper. Also, someone suggested taking a photo of your license plate, and printing it to tape in your rear window if the bag covers your plate - another good idea we used. Highly recommended.

3D Maxpider roof bag

Reviewed By Kimberly C (Des Moines, IA) Reviewed for a 2014 Mazda CX-5 —9/5/2016 6:18 PM

We used this on a vacation this summer. I was surprised how much we were able to fit in it. With zippers on both sides, loading it was easy. The only complaint I would have is the bolts were too long. They actually rested ON my roof and would have damaged it significantly if I had left it. I have a Mazda CX5 and the Mazda roof rack/ cross rails which I think are lower than a lot of roof racks. When the bag was loaded it was even lower due to the weight. I bought 2 inch bolts.
