Rhino-Rack Euro Square Bar Roof Rack Reviews

vague assembly instructions

Reviewed By raymond a (boynton beach, FL) Reviewed for a 2007 Hyundai Sonata —1/15/2015 4:52 AM

Even though it was easy to put together, the instructions are very vague as to how to actually assembly them. Once on the car they are tight and solid. Total time from start to finish was about 30 minutes. I don't notice any sound. They come with white arrow indicators for quick removal and reattaching. I only use them to haul my kayak so I remove them each time. 5 minutes to reattach. Overall a good buy.

2500 Aero Rhino at 2013 Hyundai Sonata / noise buy wind fairing!

Reviewed By Krzysztof J (MIDLOTHIAN, IL) Reviewed for a 2013 Hyundai Sonata —12/17/2012 4:08 PM

I really like this rack system is universal and easy to instal but the measurement which comes from factory is not up to date the strip spacer for 2011 - 2013 is 4 1/2 " rear or 5" not like they say in instruction 45mm & 50mm rear completely not working , you have to go 5" rear & front is work perfect it was really hard to find out for me and take me couple hours to instal them , but know after my review ,is 10 min job to put them on. Love them but don't forget to order with them wind fairing .

Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier Reviews

Well-built, fits okay

Reviewed By Jason P (Somerville, NJ) Reviewed for a 2007 Hyundai Sonata —9/10/2012 12:59 PM

I mounted this Rhino-Rack kayak carrier on Rhino-Rack aero bars; the fit is not perfect and tends to lean to one side or the other, but very easy to install and secure once in place. On the downside, though I was trying to be careful not to over-tighten, I have begun to see bending on the threaded attachment bolts/pegs, which was only observed after traveling a few hundred miles with kayaks mounted. These threaded parts appear to be the weakest link in an otherwise very tough system.
