Great Product

Reviewed By Susan B (AURORA, IL) Reviewed for a 2010 Dodge Journey —7/30/2015 9:27 AM

This product worked great. Needed something to carry all our luggage on vacation. Held suitcases for 5 people and then some. Once tightened it never moved till we took it down. Recommend arranging luggage in the bag on the ground before trying to put it on the roof. We never had any rain so I can't say if it is truly going to hold up against the rain and winds. Get the non slip mat that is an option. Great products and buying experience overall.

Good, with a few issues

Reviewed By Scott P (CORDOVA, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Edge —7/15/2015 2:50 PM

This thing should be packed full, but that's difficult to do without having edges of things pushing against the fabric. Ended up using old pillows and blankets to fill it out. Also ordered the non-slip pad, but even cut smaller than the carrier, it was so noisy in the wind we had to stop and remove it. Overall did the job, but not easily.

Handy Camping Trip Addition

Reviewed By Benjamin D (ARVADA, CO) Reviewed for a 2000 Toyota Sienna —6/2/2015 8:37 PM

We bought the Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag to carry our tent & camping gear for our big cross-country trip to the Grand Canyon. Our minivan fills up fast with goods to feed, clothe, & entertain 3 small children. Per others' recommendations, we put a covered sturdy piece of plywood on the bottom. The Saddlebag: - Gave us needed space to travel efficiently & effectively - Was fairly easy to assemble & install - Is no worse for wear after 1,300+ miles over mountains & through deserts
