2007 Jeep JK Wrangler Safari rack RULES!!!

Reviewed By james e (Duffield, VA) Reviewed for a 2007 Jeep Wrangler —5/2/2008 9:30 AM

I had been shopping around for a rack for a few months, and was shocked at the price of this rack. I had thought about the larger racks that cover the top of the jeep. However I didn't like the idea of needing help (to hold up the rack) just to remove the t-tops. This rack is the perfect size. It covers just behind the t-tops all the way to the back. It's almost as wide as the top. It really makes the jeep look much tougher. It will allow a person to have lots of extra storage space for trips, an extra spare tire, and space for a high lift jack, and shovel and axe storage. My next add-on is going to be 4 hella 6" lights on the new rack. One item to note the factory hardware bolts need to be 1/2 inch longer. They give you 8 total. You can use 4 of them, but you will need to buy 4 longer ones. Other than that this rack is perfect!!!

PackRight Car Top Carrier A+++

Great carrier for the price. Holds plenty of stuff that won't fit inside the SUV. Would definitely recommend it.

When calling to get information I was unable to get the dimensions I needed nor did anyone direct me to the Thule website. I finally was able to get the dimensions I needed on the Thule website. Install was pretty straight forward where I was able to do it without help but I would highly recommend having help. My concerns were with clearance of the rear spoiler and the Shark Fin Antenna. After installing my box, I believe I could have used the XXL box instead of the XL.
