Surco Removable Deck Rack/Luggage Rack Reviews

Cool Ride

This is the second deck rack I've had from AutoAnything. My first was damaged in a three car mashup with my Mx5 in the middle. I hope this new rack will be with me a little longer.Great product for a great roadster.

Great Rack, No Need To Removing Front Wheel

Reviewed By Michael L (CLEARWATER, FL) Reviewed for a 2012 Mazda 3 —6/28/2013 4:24 AM

I bought a cool retro cruiser bike that has no quick release for the front wheel. This rack fits perfectly on my Rhino base system, & can go on square racks as well. The gripper bar really holds the bike in place firmly; the tightness and position can be adjusted. Easy on, easy off, this rack really performs well.

Well made, looks as described.

Reviewed By Andrew B (KANSAS CITY, MO) Reviewed for a 1989 BMW 5-Series —12/22/2014 7:48 AM

Mounted to an INNO base rack system that I purchased on AA as well. Very solid feel to the rack though I think the Ubolts could have had a better design, they are hard to hand tighten. Makes a good bit of wind noise at 70MPH+, but it's a roof basket it's expected. Used for hauling spare offroad tire/wheel.Also (not pictured) has an army shovel for looks. Helps keep the weight centered in the car which is helpful when sliding around on trails and dirt tracks. Looks pretty tough on an old e34
