- A little bit tricky to install (the pads are supposed to sit right over a recessed roof 'gutter' on the RX-8, which isn't easy to align the first few time you try), but once you get the basic idea it's easier. - A surfing kayak (yak board) lashed onto the rack with some foam blocks was amazingly sturdy and didn't move when I tried hard to wiggle it. No movement was noticed at ~50 mph. - Extra kudos to inno for making racks for cars that most mfgs ignore.

When I first decided to go this route, I was worried about the noise the bars would make; however, after an easy install and a test road trip along the 101 down to Ventura, I can honestly say that I didn't notice any difference at all - even with the sunroof open! I was originally going to go with a INNO cargo box, but after reading a lot of reviews, I ended up going with the Thule FORCE box instead. The aero bars are standard so you can mix and match which is nice. Very quiet, I recommend.
