Rola Dart Carrier - Sturdy, Simple To Use & Looks Great

Reviewed By chris v (ENOLA, PA) Reviewed for a 2007 Mercedes-Benz M-Class —7/31/2013 5:36 PM

Bought the Rola Dart carrier just prior to a 600 mile trip to the beach. Ordered it on Monday, arrived the next day (local warehouse in my hometown)! Assembly took about an hour, directions were simple and clear. Use of a torque wrench highly recommended. Once installed, folding it up or down is incredibly easy with the convenient handle. It's more than large enough and very steady on the hitch. Very well built, very sturdy, super easy to load (compared to roof carrier). Buy with confidence!

Great added storage for my vehicle!

Reviewed By Julie R (Yakima, WA) Reviewed for a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class —6/5/2013 10:58 AM

Having recently traded my Sienna Minivan for an SUV, I lost a ton of storage space along with built in cup holders! With three very active kids, we needed more storage space. The Thule Transporter works great! I wanted something that I could load and not have to deal with a carrier that went on top of the SUV. I liked that it had the tilt feature for accessing my car trunk but actually with my MB450GL, I can open my trunk without tilting the cargo box! The difficult part was the installation!

Works Great

Reviewed By Reid W (Henderson, NV) Reviewed for a 2016 Hyundai Tucson —5/21/2016 7:56 PM

When I first put it on the sleave rocked from side to side about a 1/8 of an inch. Which when towing with items on it was from side to side was about 4 inches. Talked to costumer service and was told to torque it down more to 75 lbs. Seems like your going to strip the threads but you won't. Works great now. You need to compress the frame to the sleeve for a proper fit. FYI.
