The Mini Cooper Clubman came in at number three on one list of top cars under $30K. Number one was the Smart Fortwo. The editors said it had a "strange appeal." Well, we agree with the "strange" part. Second was the VW Jetta TDI. Okay, that's a solid choice, but it's diesel. In our book, the Mini Cooper should be at the top. Even the editors said it's as "much fun as you can have" at that price point, if you want to stay fully dressed, we might add. But, space can be an issue. That's why Mini roof racks and cargo carriers are a hot item.
