Rack came in quickly and installation was easy. Have used it yet but will in a few weeks and that will be the true test.

This rack is like finding a fixer upper in a high price neighborhood... The unit is made out of steel so in order to prevent rust; all you have to do is a few upgrades and it function/look just a good as the higher priced units... To do so you, just need to replace the screws with #10 stainless and seal the joints where the two halves join together with black automotive RTV type silicone. And you are all set to move in sort of speak....

I did a lot of shopping before I settled on this rack. There were a lot of racks for less money, but shipping on some were exorbitant to this old guy. Not only that, the dimensions are just right for the roof of the car. I discovered that the junk yards wanted too much money for OEM rails, so I purchased a set of rails from another company. Good quality, and the right width to fit the rack and the car. Below zero here, so I'll wait till it warms up to install it, I am old, but I'm not crazy!
