Rhino-Rack T-Loader Hitch Mount Kayak & Canoe Carrier Reviews

Loading my Kayak onto my Mini Clubman

Reviewed By RICHARD W (MIRAMAR, FL) Reviewed for a 2012 Mini Cooper —4/9/2013 3:11 PM

I loaded my 2-man 80 lbs. kayak onto my Mini Clubman in much less time and with much less effort with the help of this Rhino-Rack T-Loader. The added (3rd) resting point for the back of the 13' kayak also provided stability and peace of mind during travel. I couldn't be more satisfied! My trailer hitch is a type II with a 1.25 opening and this product only comes with a 2" neck so I needed a converter. A little wobble will be corrected with an anti-wobble product added to the converter.

Works as advertised

Reviewed By Leon G (Sumter, SC) Reviewed for a 2001 Honda Odyssey —6/29/2016 8:45 PM

I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey with a factory installed roof rack. This system worked great with the rack. My wife and I can load or unload our canoe in just a few minutes. (We have a 14 1/2 foot Old Town Canoe). It also adds cool points to the minivan, having Yakima accessories on top :)

Tricky by PERFECT

Reviewed By Leigha F (OKEMOS, MI) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Journey —5/28/2016 4:35 PM

At first, trying to fit for kayaks on the top of my car was a stripped-down nightmare. Once I figured it out, I was good to go! My crossbars needed to be about 53 inches long to be able to fit all for kayaks! Just a note to buyers who are trying to get the for kayak feature. Make sure your cross bars are long enough!
