Made for the job

Reviewed By richard r (BROOKVILLE, PA) Reviewed for a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander —10/15/2014 5:24 AM

The T-loader kayak&canoe carrier was easy to assemble and is well designed.I was able to assemble and install the carrier in a little over an hour. It is substantial and works equally well to haul ladders and lengthy construction materials. I replaced my pickup with an SUV, and this carrier allows me the versatility of pickup with the increased mileage of a smaller SUV.

Solid Rack - couple of improvements

Reviewed By Ryan M (DALLAS, TX) —11/21/2014 6:59 PM

Solidly built. Size is perfect for my application (or I might have looked at Load Warrior [too big]) I don't understand why the bars angle in, while it looks cool, you lose valuable space I'd like the securing bolts to be a slightly larger diameter. They work fine, but they are a bit on the narrow side. The rack seems very solid and the clamps are very secure. Overall I really like the rack.

Ideal solution to road trip

Reviewed By Linda K (Palm Desert, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Subaru Outback —7/10/2014 10:20 AM

We are going on a long road trip and needed a place to put our Klepper foldable kayak on our Yakima roof rack. We drive a 2007 Outback Subaru. The kayak comes in 3 separate bags but we wanted something to conceal and protect them from theft and weather. The Rhino-Rack is an almost perfect solution. Everything fits, cable chains are locked to the roof rack and we only need to access occasionally on a two month trip. The only issue was it was TOO big for our needs.
