Rhino-Rack T-Loader Hitch Mount Kayak & Canoe Carrier Reviews

great addition to roof racks

Reviewed By Russell D (PINELLAS PARK, FL) Reviewed for a 2016 Nissan Frontier —2/25/2017 1:20 AM

I have Rhino Roof racks on my Nissan Frontier, but they are not spread far enough apart to carry my 12 and 14 foot SUP's. This T-Loader is the perfect addition to make those boards secure for traveling. I was concerned, because I found no info on this, that tailgate of my truck wouldn't open when this was installed. Rhino Racks did a great job of engineering it to work. The old versions didn't have a lock, that came with it, but the new ones have a lock included.

Thule DockGlide Kayak Rack Reviews

Thule Dock Glide Kayak Rack

Reviewed By Holly H (VERPLANCK, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee —6/20/2017 3:58 AM

Bought the Dock Glide looking for an easier load. Had used typical j racks previously and found it extremely awkward for me to load from the side and having to use a step stool to "get it up" to the rack, even placing handles on each end of the cockpit. Installed loaded and went on my trip. Extremely easy to load from the rear, secures nicely with straps and bow/ stern lines. As with all Thule directions, yah gotta think about it for a sec but a breeze to put together. Happy so far.

Yakima DryDock Hitch Mount Kayak & Canoe Carrier Reviews

Sturdy and capable hitch mount rack.

Reviewed By Nathan B (Skillman, NJ) Reviewed for a 2017 Chevy Silverado —5/27/2017 3:46 AM

I used my Yakima carrier to transport three kayaks on a recent camping trip. It performed perfectly and once unloaded it tilts down, allowing the tailgate to be opened. For kayaks, I think I would be better off with a stake mount rack in the rear bed stake holes because the kayaks are not quite long enough to span the distance from front of bed to the hitch mount.
