Rightline Gear Sport Jr. Car Top Carrier Reviews

Great for cars without luggage racks.

Reviewed By Helen M (Sonoma, CA) Reviewed for a 2003 Nissan Maxima —6/18/2010 9:01 AM

We packed it full of sleeping bags and other soft items for our camping trip and then threw it up on the roof. It is easy to attach and it folds compactly when not in use. We were able to fit five sleeping bags, five air mattresses, three backpacking pads, a tarp and a couple of small blankets in this carrier. It essentially is like having a second trunk.

Great for vacations

Reviewed By William D (Farmingdale, NY) Reviewed for a 2004 Nissan Maxima —7/15/2008 4:11 PM

We have a 1 year old and are traveling to a friend's vacation home in Maine this summer. This box is perfect for us to fit the 'extra' items we need, high chair, pack and play, toys, etc. The trunk room is limited in our car, and this is perfect for us. Very pleased with my purchase!!

ROLA Vortex Roof Mounted Cargo Basket Reviews

Almost Perfect.

Reviewed By Rhea N (New York, NY) Reviewed for a 2004 Nissan Armada —6/30/2015 8:18 PM

For the price, the Rola cargo basket is a great option over its more expensive counterparts from Thule and Yakima. Easy to put together. With the extension added and to be installed on a large SUV such as our Armada, a second set of hands is definitely needed to get this onto the factory roof rack/rails. I would've given the Rola 5-stars but unfortunately, they don't offer locking brackets.
