Rightline Gear Sport 2 Car Top Carrier

Reviewed By Cynthia B (BOX ELDER, SD) Reviewed for a 2011 Subaru Outback —10/17/2014 6:17 AM

At first, I was reluctant about how secure my goods would be. The instructions were simple and clear. The carrier itself is sturdy and has handled the trip well, even with weather along the way. When I got to my destination, the carrier was easy to clean and easy to store in its original packaging (UNLIKE my sleeping bag lol) Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the item as well as the prompt service. I'm confident this carrier will be a long lasting addition to my travels.

So far so good

Reviewed By Marc M (MINNEAPOLIS, MN) Reviewed for a 2014 Subaru Forester —8/26/2014 2:55 AM

I have used it once, carrying camping supplies for a canoe trip, and it performed just fine. Drove through a hard rain and the contents stayed dry. The strap system is easy to use and seemed very secure. I was able to get a lot of gear into the carrier. The zippers were hard to move around the corners at first, maybe the stiffness will ease over time. Seems like a well-designed system. Time will tell.

Ideal solution to road trip

Reviewed By Linda K (Palm Desert, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Subaru Outback —7/10/2014 10:20 AM

We are going on a long road trip and needed a place to put our Klepper foldable kayak on our Yakima roof rack. We drive a 2007 Outback Subaru. The kayak comes in 3 separate bags but we wanted something to conceal and protect them from theft and weather. The Rhino-Rack is an almost perfect solution. Everything fits, cable chains are locked to the roof rack and we only need to access occasionally on a two month trip. The only issue was it was TOO big for our needs.
