Thule Sonic Cargo Box Reviews

Worked well for me.

I have only used it once, but thus far I am satisfied. Managed to fit sleeping bags and pads for three, two camping chairs, plus a couple of personal bags and some small odds and ends. Sturdy construction (once closed and locked). No major effect on gas mileage. Relatively quiet (notable noise, but can still have a normal conversation in side). Note: If you're a jump right in without the instructions kind of person, remember that you can only open one side at a time. I recommend this box!

Worth it

Did not take any chances and drove at no more than 70 mph....make sure that you fill every bit of the carrier as it will prevent it from flapping. Took a test run before the 13 hour trip without it fully packed and the flapping noise was deafening. Packed it up some more and filled all of the loose spaces....night and day.

Love it!!!!

We used the Thule to help move my son to college. It performed beautifully. Gave us the extra space we needed. We can't wait to use it for our two week trip to the Grand Canyon next year. Extra bonus is that our skis fit in the Thule so no need to purchase a ski rack. Love that!!! Also fast delivery. Perfect! ??
