So far so good

Reviewed By Marc M (MINNEAPOLIS, MN) Reviewed for a 2014 Subaru Forester —8/26/2014 2:55 AM

I have used it once, carrying camping supplies for a canoe trip, and it performed just fine. Drove through a hard rain and the contents stayed dry. The strap system is easy to use and seemed very secure. I was able to get a lot of gear into the carrier. The zippers were hard to move around the corners at first, maybe the stiffness will ease over time. Seems like a well-designed system. Time will tell.

Trip to Colorado

We had heard horror stories about carrying anything on top on a long trip. We traveled from Houston, TX, to Montrose, CO and we didn't have one bit of trouble. We are happy that we used your car top carrier. Thanks, John and Donna

Nice Size - Easy Assembly

Reviewed By Richard R (Taunton, MA) Reviewed for a 2012 Subaru Forester —5/20/2012 4:01 AM

This unit is perfect for the added carrying accessories one might need to add. I recently purchased a Subaru Forester, and coming from a truck previously I was worried about "loss of cargo space". The Rhino Rack fills the bill. Assembly was pretty easy - just make sure you have a flat open area to assemble it. The installation requires 2 people both for getting up on the car without scratching and also for adjustment, to center it perfectly. I would recommend highly. This was less expensive than the "factory" roof rack and it is deeper, allowing more stable loads to be placed in it.
