CURT Roof Mounted Cargo Rack Reviews

Curt Cargo Rack for my old 1996 Subaru to to haul stuff with.

Reviewed By Robert D (DENVER, CO) Reviewed for a 1996 Subaru Legacy —11/15/2014 5:16 PM

I did a lot of shopping before I settled on this rack. There were a lot of racks for less money, but shipping on some were exorbitant to this old guy. Not only that, the dimensions are just right for the roof of the car. I discovered that the junk yards wanted too much money for OEM rails, so I purchased a set of rails from another company. Good quality, and the right width to fit the rack and the car. Below zero here, so I'll wait till it warms up to install it, I am old, but I'm not crazy!

Thule 682 Sidekick Roof Cargo Box Reviews

Thule 682 Sidekick Roof Cargo Box.., Clemmons, NC

Reviewed By Erika M H (Clemmons, NC) Reviewed for a 2005 Subaru Legacy —12/28/2008 10:01 PM

Perfect Purchase. We just got back from a 10 day trip from NC to Washington DC (unloaded and stayed 3 days, then loaded again)... then to Rehoboth Beach De (unloaded and stayed 7 days, then loaded again),,,then returned to NC. Rained going up and rained coming back. Also had periods of time where we thought the car would be blown off the road. Our stuff stayed in the box on the roof...and dry! No regrets! Great trip!

perfect fit

Reviewed By John H (MATTHEWS, NC) Reviewed for a 2015 Subaru Outback —8/16/2017 3:24 AM

Sport 1 fits perfectly between side rails and crossbars. I connected straps only front to back using crossbars, and this was quite sufficient. Had it fully packed for a 220 mile vacation trip.
