INNO BoardLocker Surfboard Rack Reviews

Some trouble on installation

Reviewed By John M (AGOURA HILLS, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota RAV4 —9/3/2014 9:06 AM

Used my surf racks twice now with a fun board and short board on them. Very secure. Only problem is that they did not fit well my factory rack cross bar. I had to purchase 4 long bolts that were the same size as the long ones included with the racks. It would have been better to have even longer ones, but I could not find any. With the longer bolts, it just barely fit my cross bars, but saved me having to purchase a new car rack system.

Rack works great. Easy to install on factory roof rack. No road noise. Just what I needed to get family to the mountain.

Instalation is easy, but not sure it won't eventually blew off on a long trip at high speed because it is not screwed in like the more expensive racks. Hope not because I do not want any one behind me get hurt. My wife and kids complaint that it makes too loud wind noise, so I decided to take it off and stored it away until I need it. I was thinking of getting a Wind Flaring but that is another $75. That would bring the total costs combined to over $345. For $345, I could have bought better ones
